DVDs arrived, spent the last two nights watching them, Phantom first, then Moulin Rouge yesterday. Was heartily amused by the latter (with Satine's antics in the elephant at the prospect of...'poetry'). Had a nice enough lie in today except I was prematurely roused by my mum telling my bro something or other (ahh the urinary habits of Fifi). Found that I can be a much lighter sleeper now, especially in the mornings, which is inconvenient when at home... :P). There was unfortunately no hot water yesterday, and the heating was gone due partly to the incompetence of the gas meter changing man (sorted out by a bemused chap today). Yay for hot water, and new tapes both in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitties had to be controlled from frolicking underneath the bath tub though (left open to dry). Luckily they didn't do anything unpleasant down there >_< Oh and I want to try absinthe.
I'm really glad that I *only* have three weeks of work left. It is, as admitted by other more qualified accounts than myself that it's boring stuff. My computer finally died yesterday (refusing to start windows at all) and I was shipped to somebody else's computer. Which was isolating. It at least had internet, but I couldn't use it for long (especially after the first 'You are forbidden from using the internet' page which flashed up once. I used it again afterwards, but in shorted bursts. Only the visit at the end of the coming week is keeping up spirits, but apathy (and other feelings associated) is so hard to combat.Current Mood:  listless |
Really do need to see Moulin Rouge again.
I don't think that the prospect of seeing a tiny green Kylie is the reason why you want to try the stuff :P
Indeed ;) I can't even remember where I heard that thing about absinthe though, on TV, but can't remember where..
